Hey y'all! It is officially time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If you are not sure what this is, it is Nordstrom's biggest sale of the year in which they mark down their new fall arrivals, this means these items are BRAND NEW to Nordstrom's website. After the sale is over on August 30, these items will be marked back to full price. I will be sharing a majority of my picks through the LiketoKnow.it app. Everything I ever post, link, or share lives over on the app forever, so be sure to always check it out. HOW TO SHOP:
If you have a Nordstrom Credit Card you are able to shop the sale earlier than the public due to the tiered nature of the sale. However, the date at which you can start shopping depends on your status. Once the sale opens to the public on August 19, anyone can shop the deals.

DO'S AND DON'TS:
This sale is year after year so I've gathered a few tips and tricks. One thing I will say, is that if you are following or looking at Influencers for advice they will always be sharing more than you ever need, this happens because we have to provide content for different age groups, fashion styles, and lifestyles. It can be easy to get wrapped into the idea of a sale, but only purchase the items that you will truly use and continue to use year after year and season after season.
Don't - apply for a card solely for the sale, it is not worth it.
Don't - buy trendy or seasonal items you will only wear once; this sale is filled with the best basics and items you will get use of year after year.
Don't - buy a ton of different items solely because they are on sale.
Do - mark your calendars and set your alarm when you have access, because stuff sells out very quickly.
Do - purchase all the items you are interested in ASAP, popular items tend to sell out very fast and more importantly, Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns.
Do - take advantage of the sales and stock up on gift items.
Do - know your price range and stick to it, separate your needs vs. wants.
Do - Create a wish list of all the items you have your eye on through the LiketoKnow.it app by pressing the heart icon above the item.
